Workshop description:

Attendees will learn how to create beautiful flower arrangements on this 1-day workshop. They will cover bouquet themes and design, colour, form and shape. Designs are based on home-grown flowers and foliage so that participants can replicate what they learn once back home. After the workshop participants will be able to take home a hand-tied bouquet.

Step-by-step instructions in a fun and hands on workshop enable participants to get to grips with the key techniques quickly.

Topics covered:

– Bouquet themes and design

– Flower and foliage combinations

– Colour and texture

– Cutting tips; shape

– Flower care; tips for keeping arrangements longer

Venue:

The workshop is taught in a dedicated craft room at Le Manoir Saint Gervais as well as out in the cutting garden. Participants have the use of various tools and equipment. Tea and coffee making facilities are available throughout the day in The Study.

This workshop is for anyone wanting to create beautiful flower arrangements from the flowers they grow in their own garden. It is a great follow on to our Cutting Garden course, helping participants make the most of their home-grown blooms and foliage. If you have previous flower arranging experience you will benefit from seeing different flower and foliage combinations from your experienced tutor.
